Hope

Hey there! I’m so glad you clicked and are here :)

I want to briefly share the source of my hope. For the past several decades I’ve been on a journey with too many medical specialists to count in search for answers … it’s been a long and sometimes painful journey. I found myself feeling hopeless … like I would never feel better or they would never be able to help me … but there was one who could … one who was there for me and loved me despite all my imperfections and brokenness…my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. It wasn’t that I just prayed and everything magically felt better … in fact I dealt with crippling fear. The anxiety was unbearable.

Thankfully the Lord has brought some amazing medical specialists into my life that have been able to finally help with accurate diagnoses and pain relief! The day in and day out of chronic pain affected not just me but my family … my ability to be a wife, mother and music composer … just to do life with any degree of predictability. Even though I have good days and bad days my hope is anchored in My Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He is the source of my courage, my strength, my ability to persevere.

This is the Hope that I want to share.

The message of Jesus Christ is simple yet the most powerful and life changing decision you could ever make.

For God so Loved the world that He gave His one and only son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have ever lasting life.

John 3:16

We live in a world that is ever changing … deceit, disease, destruction, crime, envy, jealousy, bitterness and fear. It makes us all the more aware of how in need we are of a Savior.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ enters in and offers us a personal relationship.

God sent His one and only son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins (crime, jealousy, bitterness etc…)

Jesus was crucified, buried and three days later He defeated death and rose from the grave!

He paid that profound price for each and every one of us. It’s a FREE GIFT from the Lord to us. God loves us so much that He gives us the privilege of choice.

We each have a choice; we can either accept or reject this gift of love.

First, you acknowledge you are a sinner (spoiler - we all are!)

Repent of your sins. He is righteous, just, and forgiving.

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

Believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Then trust and obey His Word.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.

Ephesians 2:8

He will forgive you of ALL your sin and you will have a heart that’s new!

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

2 Corinthians 5:17

To help us continue to walk with that new transformed heart God has given us the best instruction book for life…The Bible.
